Elementary School

coding campThe elementary school years are the foundation and formative years of your child’s educational career.  Our goal is to educate the whole child through spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical skill building.  The elementary school follows a very competitive consensus curriculum established by the Diocese of Richmond.  Our curriculum exceeds the requirements for the Standards of Learning for the Commonwealth of Virginia.  To view the elementary school curriculum, please visit the Office of Catholic Schools and select School Curriculum.

Each week our elementary school students enjoy creative and exploratory time in classes such as art, computer, music, physical education, and visits to the elementary school library.

Elementary students may participate in the Elementary/ Middle School Drama Club which performs a large musical each spring. Students in grades 3 through 5 participate in general music classes, and  they perform at churches, nursing homes and community events. Each November, elementary students participate in their own election for student leaders who will serve on the Student Government Council.
